Built in 1908, the Guthrie U.M. Church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a contributing resource to Guthrie Historic District since 1974. It is an example of the “Akron Plan,” a style popularized by the “education movement” of the late 19th century and first attributed to the First Methodist Episcopal Church of Akron, Ohio constructed from 1866-70. PandDStudio prepared a Historic Structures Report for this property.
